Anne Marie Morse, DO, FAASM, Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA, briefly discusses the results of a post-hoc analysis investigating the effects of lower-sodium oxybate treatment in individuals with idiopathic hypersomnia. Dr Morse explains that there was a reduction in the need for excessive sleep time in these individuals, allowing them to gain some hours back in their day and achieve more of a normal life experience.
